Martingale Chain Fur Saving Collar
This collar has a
Martingale chain. The martingale collar is also known as a limited-slip collar. It was designed for dogs with narrow heads and breads whose necks were larger than their heads. Martingale chain collar works same way as a regular choke chain, but is more safe due to some design changes that prevent slipping and self choking. It is made of a length of material with a metal ring at each end. A separate loop of material passes through the two rings. The leash attaches to a ring on this loop. When your dog tries to back out of the martingale, the two slides pull close together and the collar tightens around his/her neck. When adjusted correctly, it will tighten just to the size of your hound’s neck and will prevent the dog from escaping. If not pulled the collar is conveniently loose. Working that way makes this collar a perfect choice not only for training, but for a regular walks too.

The main reason to choose a Fur saver collar made of stainless steel:
Non-rusting material that will always look like new, will be especially appreciated by dog owners whose pets are crazy for water. Also, there are dog groups who are constantly in contact with wetness, e.g. the hunting dogs and the dogs working for the police. Chains made of ordinary steel can become dull after contact with wetness. Especially salt water can roughen the plating layer and the result can be the following: chain gets rusty. This cannot happen to stainless steel. Also, you have the advantage of better breaking load which will grant you even a higher security and a long lifespan.
Warnings about Fur Saver Collars:
- never leave your dog unsupervised, when wearing a Fur Saver Collar
- please, remember, if you are an owner of a growing puppy, you should order a Fur Saver that will perfectly do for his size
- it shouldn't be bigger because it may slip off his head and will be probably lost
- also it shouldn't be very tight because it will not have that training effect, it will put pressure on the dog's neck all the time, so that the dog will learn to stand it or it may even cause injuries
- it will be better if you strictly stick to our sizing chart
